I Hate Domestic Violence is a business/organization used to advocate for domestic violence victims and those who have been affected by domestic violence. We also provide “I Hate Domestic Violence” apparel to raise money to donate to domestic violence community efforts. With the proceeds from T-Shirt sales, we have executed a Toy Drive, Giveaways, a Turkey Trot, a raffle that donated to a family that were victims of domestic violence, as well as adopted a Family for the winter holiday season.
On March 2, 2020 our mom, Elizabeth Loston, was murdered by her husband. I Hate Domestic Violence is an approach to keep her legacy alive and thriving. We used that experience to uplift, educate, and raise awareness for families to know the signs, get out, get help, and progress into a better position.
My name is ANarris Monger and I am the owner of I Hate Domestic Violence. I was born and raised in Detroit Michigan. I obtained my undergraduate degree in Interdisciplinary Studies in Social Science and my Masters degree from Wayne State University in Community Health Education.
I am passionate about the community and health, my goal is to help those in my community who are economically challenged. I also have grown to love mental health. I want to support those who deal with mental health issues by creating a platform that is comfortable for them. Mental health in my community is overlooked and I want to openly discuss the importance of it.
